Thursday- 

Students will read various riddles and identify the elements of riddles. Students will attempt to solve the riddles. (http://apps.warnerbros.com/thehobbit/riddles/us/)

Students will write three riddles of their own.


Friday-

Students will complete think/pair/share activity of writing three riddles of their own.

Students will predict what “Riddles in the Dark” is about by studying the illustrations (PB pages 64-67). Students will complete think/pair/share activity by writing a 6-7 sentences paragraph of their prediction.
